Project Overview

The Glen Stage 1 redevelopment project, completed in late 2018, entailed expanding car parks, introducing a new fresh food market hall, and creating additional retail space for a food gallery, fashion precinct, lifestyle area, and indoor-outdoor dining experience. The new retail extension consisting of 3 parking levels, 2 retail levels and 1 podium level to support future residential tower development.

Baigents played a pivotal role in the structural design and documentation of this redevelopment, which involved intricate upgrades and strengthening of the existing car park structure, as well as design of the new multi-level post tension retail floor structure.

Collaborating closely with the builders, our team at Baigents expertly staged our works, ensuring a seamless and efficient process. We understand the importance of minimising disruption to the shopping centre’s operation, and our careful planning and execution facilitated the redevelopment to proceed smoothly and successfully.
